Ahmad Nejad-Memories of possible worlds

“Memories of possible worlds” is the title of the exhibition presenting new paintings by artist Ahmad Nejad created in recent years. Large “frescoes” depicting contemporary characters give rise to the elegance of ancient paintings and fragments of precious French linen canvases recompose codes and forms in a mosaic of slow stratifications of color.

To let ourselves be carried away by the magic of the symbolism of Ahmad’s artworks means to enter in a dimension in which a rich encounter of figures and colors have the power to generate, among the deepest memories, or with the freest imagination, dreamlike stories and fantasies, belonging to “memories of possible worlds.”
