Known as a painter of the Langhe, Beppe Gallo has now developed a personal "gestalt" of nature.

“There are still painters who need places.

Almost always it is the places of childhood and that specific light of theirs that can of illuminating the whole course of life. So for me it was decisive to be birth in the hills overlooking the Langhe.”

Short brushstrokes and chromatic richness are the main elements in the artist’s paintings. His chromatic compositions are perfect harmonic scales that only the sensitive know how to vibrate.

Those who look at the evocative canvases are amazed that one can harmonize soul and body, mind and physicality. It is the great connection with nature that makes the artist, as much as he is drawn to the informal resist renouncing figuration; his art contemplates the abstract and recognizable forms on a single work. Having now arrived at advanced solutions in which the two artistic genres brush up against each other, we can enjoy works representing a nature, a Langa experienced and observed for a long time, which eventually reveals, one by one, its secrets.
